John Castaldi is a Brooklyn based artist originally from Portland, Oregon. Growing up in an artistic family helped John realize his goal of becoming a professional artist. While studying illustration at Pratt Institute,John further explored his love for portraits. For years he has been passionate about painting portraits, and has used many different methods of physical media to create his visually distinct graphic images.

Lauren Rymer is fresh talent based in Brooklyn NY. Born and raised in Northern Virginia, she escaped suburbia to study Communication Design at Pratt Institute. She draws inspiration from her dreams, fears and the natural world, in attempts to explore life’s unanswerable questions. Her work is representational, illustrative and employs a vibrant color palette. She is influenced by figurative painters, contemporary photography, and film. Lauren has been featured in the archive of American Illustration 31& 32, and was a winner of the Society of Illustrators Student Scholarship competition in 2012.
